Aqua Peel

What is it ?

Its a combination of a Hydradermabrasion treatment along with a lactic acid peel for skin resurfacing. Hydradermabrasion facial is a wet dermabrasion treatment that consists of cleansing, exfoliation, extraction, hydration and antioxidant protection all in one. As a result, your skin is more clear, smooth, and beautiful with no discomfort or downtime needed. This can be performed as a standalone treatment. Customized serums will be added to enhance your treatment results.

A series of 6 treatments is recommended with 2 treatments per month for optimum results. Use high quality concentrated products with a custom regimen planned by your esthetician, who has seen your skin up close and knows what your skin needs.

How does it work?

The Hydradermabrasion treatment uses 3 modalities: exfoliation, suction and infusion of serums. The exfoliation and suction lift and remove dead skin cells and debris from the skin/pores. The serums used are clinically formulated to target specific skin conditions, including fine lines, uneven skin tone and texture, clogged or enlarged pores, acne and redness due to flushing or rosacea. A lactic acid peel is included in the treatment for better results.

Typically Aqua Peel is performed on the face, neck, chest and back.

What to expect?

Aqua Peel procedures takes approximately 1 hour to complete, this includes cleansing of the skin, sun protection, and moisturizing. Various serums enhance the treatment for acne, pigmentation, and collagen stimulation. Your skin may appear pink, but will subside within the hour. Most clients see results after their first treatment, noticing better skin clarity, enhanced hydration, clearer pores, and softer skin or finer lines. Your skin will be more sensitive to sun exposure so its important you use sunscreen for a minimum of the first 2 weeks.

Can I go about my normal nightly skin care routine?

Depends, cleansers or moisturizers containing scrubs, RetinA, or acids of any kind need to be avoided for 7-10 days. A sunscreen with a high SPF is also required for use for at least the first 2 weeks.

What is the pain level? (1-10)

1 (easily tolerated). In fact, many of our clients fall asleep for it is a relaxing treatment.

How many treatments do I need?

We recommend a facial every two weeks. Our skin is our biggest organ and is exposed to many factors that cause aging. If you would like to keep the skin bright and healthy we suggest to incorporate this into your bi-weekly routine.
